Ladies Notes 29th March
<< Go Back

Our ladies were defeated by St.Michaels on a scoreline of 3-11 to 3-9 in the first round of the Senior League last Sunday in
Keash. The girls travelled over to Toulestrane on Sunday for a match at 10am in the pre-league competition, although they were slow getting into the match they were the worthy winners on a scoreline of 5-8 to 1-1.

The U16 girls start their league campaign with two games being played this week. Firstly tomorrow evening (Monday) with a match against St.Nathys in Bunninadden at 7pm. They will also play St.Farnans at home on Wednesday evening again at 7pm.

The U14 girls start back training this Tuesday evening at 7pm. New members welcome.

Congratulations to St.Nathys secondary school in Ballaghaderreen on winning the ladies Senior Connacht final last week. Well done to all involved especially to all our Harps girls.

There will be a mass on Friday 10th April at 7pm in Monasteraden church for Johnny Downes. Johnny played a huge role in our club as a coach and in later years was a great supporter. There will be refreshments in Monastraden National School afterwards. All are welcome.
