Ladies Notes 5th April - 05/04/2015

Our ladies won the first round of the Connacht cup last Friday (3rd) against Shannon Gaels from Roscommon. They game was very close but the girls outscored them by 9 points in the finish up.
They also played St.Nathys in the second round of the League in Achonry on Saturday evening. Unfortunately the Nathys girls were alot stronger than ours and it finished on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-25.

The u16 girls are off to a good start in the league when they beat St.Farnans in Keash on Wednesday evening. The girls did very well and the end score was 7-11 to 3-4. These girls will play St.Nathys tomorrow (Monday evening) at 7pm in Bunninadden in a rescheduled game from last week. The girls will also have a home game to Shamrock Gaels on Wednesday (8th) at &pm in Keash.

U14 girls training will start tomorrow (Monday evening) at 7pm in Keash. New members welcome.

There will be a mass this Friday (10th April) at 7pm in Monasteraden church for Johnny Downes. Johnny played a huge role in our club as a coach and in later years was a great supporter. There will be refreshments in Monastraden National School afterwards. All are welcome.
