Our U.16 team qualified for the A Championship final courtesy of a 5.09 to 2.08 victory over Shamrock Gaels played in Coola last Monday evening. The teams had played out a thrilling draw in Keash the week previously.  The early pattern of the game was similar to the previous encounter with Harps starting strongly and taking an early lead. However on this occasion they never allowed the Gaels a way back. The first half hinged on 2 penalties. The first one awarded to Gaels but was brilliantly saved by Alan Davey the Harps netminder. The second penalty fell to us and was dispatched confidently by Bryan Molloy to compliment the two earlier goals from Kyle Cosgrove and Ross O'Dowd. In the second half we scored further goals from Luke Hogge and Shawn O'Hara and ran out deserving winners by 10 points. We play Curry this Monday evening at 6.30 in Markievicz Park. Then on Thursday evening at 6.30 in Scarden our U.14 team line out in the B Championship final against Tubbercurry/Cloonacool. We would appreciate as much support as possible for these young teams.

Our senior men take on Tourlestrane in the county semi final on Sunday at 5pm in Markievicz Park.

On Saturday in Cloonacool Community Park our junior team also play Tourlestrane in the semi final at 6pm.
