Following the postponement of the opening league game against St Mary’s, our senior ladies got their season underway with a trip to Geevagh on Sunday morning.  Short a number of regulars, the girls got off to a blistering start scoring 3 early goals.  However a stronger Geevagh team gradually grew into the game and were back on level terms by half time.  While our ladies never gave up until the final whistle, Geevagh proved much too strong in the second half and ran out winners on a scoreline of 4-16 to 3-3. Their next game is in round 3 of the league against St Michaels on Easter Sunday in Keash.  Time TBC.
