Eastern Harps under 12 girls kept up their 100% record so far this year, when they won their 5th straight game to progress to the County A League final. On Tuesday evening last, they entertained CT Gaels in the A-League semi-final,in Gurteen. All the girls were exceptional on the evening and showed great determination to overcome a stubborn CT Gaels side. A tight contest saw The Harps lead 9-7 going into the final quarter, but a dominant display in the final quarter, saw them run out convincing 12-7 winners. The girls are now in training for the County Final, which Takes place next Tuesday evening, 31st May, in Ransboro at 8.30pm. Their opponents will not be known until Sunday, when the other semi-final is to be played between Drumcliffe/Rosses Point and Tourlestrane. All support would be greatly appreciated.
