The final draw in our Buy-a-Block fundraiser took place in The Crossbar Gurteen last Saturday night. We'd like to thank all our sponsors for this draw, including Gardencare & East Brothers Machinery who sponsored our monthly draws. We'd also like to thank our ticket sellers and, most especially, those of you who kindly supported this fundraiser by buying tickets. Our final draw consisted €4,000 worth of prizes spread across 13 winners.

We also must mention our November draw which was won by Fr. Gabriel Murphy and to our long standing supporter Sean Coleman who drew the ticket. We’d also like to thank Edward East for officiating at each draw. Phase 1 of the project is nearing completion and we are aiming to start phase 2 early on 2018.

Congratulations to Regina McDonagh (Cuilmore) and Michael Lennon (Monaghan) and to Declan Hannon (Knocknaskeagh) and Sharon Johnston (Cloonacool) who got married recently. Congratulations to Barry and Ann Cryan on the birth of their baby daughter Clodagh.

Bingo in association with Eastern Harps continues as usual in Gurteen Hall at 8.30pm. The jackpot has now reached €1,700 in 46 calls or less with the lotto jackpot 1 at €200.
