Eastern Harps GAA club are once again delighted to launch the Kerry McKeon essay writing competition 2024, for the youngsters in the Eastern Harps area. Last year the competition was run through the club’s underage teams and thankfully the kids of the area did not disappoint showing some great creativity and innovation with an excellent standard of entries. Due to the continued success of the competition and growing participation over the past number of years, the current format will remain for this year’s competition. There will be a winner from each of the 4 following categories, U-6 U-8 U-10 and U-12 (This includes anyone in 6th class), with an overall winner selected from one of the aforementioned categories. It is a great opportunity for the boys and girls living within the Eastern Harps Club to explore their creative side and have some fun doing so.

The presentation to this year’s winners will coincide with an underage blitz taking place at Eastern Harps GAA pitch on a date to be confirmed in July.
