The club is once again delighted to announce that we have been successful in receiving funding under Measure 1 of the CLÁR programme  from the Department of Rural and Community Development. In total our club has secured funding of €50,000 towards the construction of our new spectator stand which has been announced today by Minister Heather Humphries under her department’s CLÁR programme, Measure 1.  This grant aid will help towards the building of our new stand which has been part of our plans for some time. We hope to commence this work in the coming weeks. 


This is again great news for the club and proves that we are well positioned to attract continued funding from various Government Departments. Great credit is due to our Club Executive, and particularly our Development Ctte. chaired by Sean Scott and his development team of Ronan Higgins, Keith Carty and Councillor Paul Taylor for the huge effort put in to securing this funding. 


We are also progressing with other works including a walkway, new fencing, ballstops & further pitch upgrades. 


Our long-term vision as set out in our strategic plan is to have state of the art facilities which will benefit the entire community and future generations to come.


We continue to work on plans for the development of the recently purchased land adjacent to the Clubhouse. We will communicate this as soon as is practical.
